Accounting/Job Cost Support (Part-Time)

 

JOB DESCRIPTION


 

THE WORK

 

Do you like to do the exact same thing every day? Neither do we! Every day is different.
The Accounting/Job Cost Support role is to aide the accounting team from data entry to filing and things in between. Tasks include, but are never limited to:​

  • Update tools list and input into the accounting software for job costing
  • Update rental list and input into the accounting software for job costing

  • Receive packing slips and match to purchase orders

  • Filing document

  • Special project

  • Printing and distributing job costing reports to project managers

  • Other duties as assigned

THE SKILLS​
  • Put in the time: 1-3 years experience in accounting with administration including College level courses or equivalent experience.

  • Got 99 problems, but Microsoft ain't one (Excel, MS Office applications don’t scare you off).

  • Working as a team is your favourite but working independently doesn’t bother you either.

  • Master Communicator (excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills).

  • Cool as a cucumber: you're able to work effectively under tight deadlines and in stressful conditions without breaking a sweat.

  • Professional organizer is your middle name. You can stay on track independently and no detail goes unnoticed from your strong analytical skills.

  • Knowledge and ability in JONAS software would be a definite bonus.
