High Power Pressure Technician

THE WORK

 

Do you like to travel and enjoy new experiences? We are looking for skilled tradesmen who are willing to travel and work on both our US and Canadian job sites, constructing prominent aquatic facilities across North America. Duties will include, but are never limited to:

  • Demolition, general labour and prep work for finishes for aquatic facilities.
  • Aid subcontractors.
  • Load/ Unload material.
  • Operate manual and power tools.
  • Operate 40,000 psi pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean and prepare concrete surface for pool finishes.
  • Maintain and participate in safety, quality and productivity of work on the job.
  • Keep tools and equipment in good repair.
  • Complete required operation and safety paperwork.
  • Operating high powered pressure washer, for extended periods of time.
  • Strict adherence to safe work practices and procedures.

 

THE SKILLS

 

  • You have no problem getting your hands dirty and working outside in different temperatures and levels of noise doesn't scare you. 
  • Physically able to control commercial hydro blasting and vacuum equipment.
  • You have the strength of an ox - okay, we're exaggerating, but you have no problem with heavy lifting (+65lbs).
  • Safety First: You don't just talk the safety talk. You believe in safety all the time and your record can prove it.
  • Got 99 problems, but technology ain't one (iPhone's, iPad's, and Microsoft Office applications are your specialties).
  • Put in the time: 3-5 years trade experience required.
  • Mechanically inclined to maintain pressure washing machinery.
  • Ability to be agile and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • It's all in the details. You can stay on track and no detail goes unnoticed.
  • Frequent flyer: You love and are willing to travel across North America.
  • Master Communicator (excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills).
  • Experience driving a CVOR vehicle and ability to maintain drivers logs.
  • Squeaky clean driver’s abstract, background check and drug test.

  • Willing to obtain Working at Heights.

  • Opportunity to join the labourer’s union.
