COVID-19 Update

 

At Acapulco Pools, we live and work in communities across North America. Our first priority is the health and safety of our clients, partners, suppliers and our employees. Just like many other companies across the globe who are working together to help slow the spread, we are actively putting measures in place to ensure the safety of everyone in our offices and on our job sites.

 

Here’s how:

 

Awareness

As we continue to monitor and pay close attention to the directions given by the World Health Organization and the Public Health Agency of Canada, we are providing information to our employees about COVID-19 including how it spreads, what symptoms to watch for and what steps to take if symptoms appear.

 

Employee Support

We have recommended employees stay home from work if they experience symptoms or feel unwell. No one from Acapulco Pools will visit your facility or job site if they have travelled within the last 14 days.

 

Social Distance

 

 In Our Offices:  We have asked our employees to work from home wherever possible, decreasing the number of employees working in our offices. Whenever possible, we are using video conferencing tools like FaceTime and GoToMeeting to conduct internal and external business meetings.

 

On Our Job Sites: We have limited carpooling to our job sites and we are encouraging our employees on site maintain the recommended 6 foot physical distance.

 

Chemical Deliveries: Our delivery specialist will provide contactless delivery. This means he will call or send a text message approximately 30 minutes before arriving at the facility. Chemicals will be delivered to the designated location specified on the order form, email or direction when we call before arrival. To replace signature upon arrival, a photo of the delivered chemicals will be provided by email or text message.

 

Service Visits: Our Technicians will arrive by themselves and either call or text when they have arrived at the facility. During the visit, our technician will maintain the recommended 6 foot physical distance between facility staff at all times.

 

Focusing on Cleanliness

Increased and more stringent cleaning is being completed by professional cleaners in our office locations. Service technicians and employees on site are equipped with hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and disposable gloves and have been instructed to use them diligently.
