Acapulco Pools Awarded Contract For Bessarion Community Centre (BCC)

 

 

A massive new community centre and public park are coming to Bessarion station in Toronto, and Eastern Construction awarded the contract for the construction of its new indoor aquatic centre to Acapulco Pools. 

 

Designed by to MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects (MJMA), the Bessarion Community Centre will span 209,000 square feet. The multi-function facility will house a recreation space comprised of a double gymnasium, indoor running track, fitness studio, weight room and childcare centre.

 

On top of that, the Bessarion Community Centre will be home to an indoor aquatic centre spanning 27,000 square-feet featuring a 25M six-lane lap pool and a leisure pool complete with spray features.
