Acapulco Pools Awarded Contract For Byron Pool & Bathhouse

 

 

After a 60-year life cycle, Byron ’s community outdoor pool closed its doors a few weeks before the end of summer to prepare for a $2.8-million facelift. Acapulco Pools was selected by Accuratus Design & Build Inc. to complete the removal of the existing pool tank, the pool tank replacement along with the installation of various spray features. 

 

Designed by Architects Tillmann Ruth Robinson (ATRR) and Aqua Plans Aquatic Consultants Inc., the existing components will be replaced by a new modern bathhouse with universal change rooms, a heated 25M pool, improved mechanical system and a new pool deck complete with ample shade structures. It will be the first London facility to install an on-deck climbing wall.

 

Bringing a new element of fun and excitment to the community, swimmers will enjoy a variety of spray features and with zero depth beach entry, the swimming area will be fully accessible.

 

Construction is underway at the new Byron Pool & Bathhouse in London, ON and is set to open to the public in 2019.
