New! Acapulco Pools Now Offering Private Certified Pool Operator (CPO®) Training!

 

After more than a decade of providing Certified Pool Operator® (CPO®) training at their Project Support Centre in Kitchener, Ontario, Acapulco Pools is now offering a private training option at their clients' facilities or location of their choice. 

 

The Certified Pool Operators® (CPO®) course is an educational course provided by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) that teaches students the fundamentals of pool and spa operation. After completing the course, participants understand how to reduce risks, improve safety, and decrease liability for employers, facilities and patrons. CPO® certification courses are designed to provide individuals with the basic knowledge, techniques, and skills needed for pool and spa operation. The CPO® certification has provided training in the pool and spa industry since 1972, resulting in more than 350,000 certifications in 94 countries.

 

What is the Difference?

Instead of attending a CPO® course at their Project Support Centre in Kitchener, Ontario, Acapulco Pools will send their PHTA CPO® Certified Instructor to the clients facility or predetermined location to provide hands-on pool and spa operator training for up to 10 swimming pool/spa operators, facility owners or manager, lifeguards, maintenance technicians or anyone who is responsible for the maintenance or operation of their swimming pool or spa. 

 

What are the Benefits?

There are a number of benefits to hosting private CPO® training including:

  • Eliminate travel and the associated travel expenses.
  • Convenience! Clients can choose a date that works best for them.
  • Hands-on training. Every pool is different and every mechanical room is different. Training can be tailored to the equipment the client has on-site. 
  • Train up to 10 operators at the same time.
